Yesterday we presented a new member of the Bang & Olufsen Family: Beoplay H95 – Our most exclusive headphones to date. After the launch, we have received a number of inquiries as to what the differences between the H95 and our H9 3rd generation headphones are.

We therefore decided to write this blog post in an attempt to clarify what the similarities and differences between these two high-end headphones are.

 

SIMILARITIES BETWEEN H9 AND H95

Both headphones:

• are wireless over-ear headphones
• have active noise cancellation*
• have passive noise reduction in the form of the enclosing ear pads in lambskin
• have Transparency Mode
• is made of luxurious and robust materials
• have voice assistant with dedicated button
• have intuitive and innovative touch interface in aluminum (also works with gloves on)

IMPROVEMENTS IN BEOPLAY H95

The differences between Beoplay H95 and Beoplay H9 can probably be said as follows: Everything we love about Beoplay H9 we get twice as much in Beoplay H95: o) We have put a little extra care for the details, the functions and the choice of materials.

• Beoplay H95 is our first foldable headphones
• When folded, the Beoplay H95 fits perfectly in the included aluminum case, which protects the headphones with style
• A specially made charging cable, audio cable and flight adapter made of aluminum and fabric are included, which matches the color of the headphones and comes with the case
• The headband on the H95 is covered with the same beautiful and soft lambskin as the ear pads and beautiful fabric on the inside, which is also provided with memory foam for increased comfort.

• We dare say that the H95 has a better sound than the H9 with a better sensitivity and impedance, which combined with the extremely effective noise cancellation gives an excellent sound – even if it is the very small details when you look at the technical numbers.
