Flexible living

BEOVISION is not just a television – it is also a piece of furniture designed to become a natural part of your home. That is why Bang & Olufsen offers several different ways to place your TV, so it fits both the room, your interior style and the way you use your TV in everyday life.

Below you can explore the different installation options.

Beovision Contour 48" - Wall Bracket - Light Oak & Silver - Hero

B&O TV with wall bracket

A Bang & Olufsen TV mounted on the wall creates an elegant and minimalist look in the room. The screen appears light and floating, while the installation highlights the TV’s design and materials.

Several models can be combined with advanced wall brackets that allow the screen to rotate towards your preferred viewing position in the room. This makes it easy to adjust the angle depending on where you are seated – whether in the sofa, at the dining table or somewhere else in the room.

Models with wall bracket: Beosound Stage with LG TV, Beovision Contour, Beovision Theatre, Beovision Harmony and Beosound Premiere with LG TV

Beovision Contour 48" - Floor Stand - Light Oak & Silver - Hero

B&O TV with floor stand

A Bang & Olufsen TV on a floor stand offers exceptional flexibility in your home. The floor stand allows the TV to be placed freely in the room – not just against a wall – which can be ideal in open spaces or interior layouts where the TV becomes part of the room’s architecture.

Several floor stands are also available with motorised rotation, allowing you to turn the TV from side to side using your Bang & Olufsen remote control, Beoremote One. This allows the screen to automatically turn towards your preferred viewing position.

Models with floor stand: Beovision Contour, Beovision Theatre, Beovision Harmony and Beosound Premiere with LG TV

Beovision Contour 48" - Table Stand - Light Oak / Silver - Hero

B&O TV with table stand

A Bang & Olufsen TV with a table stand is a simple and elegant solution if you want to place your TV on a TV cabinet or a low sideboard.

The table stand slightly lifts the screen from the furniture, creating a calm and balanced look while keeping the installation clean and discreet.

SOUND & IMAGE

Beovision features fantastic integrated speakers and a wireless surround module. The visual experience is not only about pleasing the eye. The ears should also be indulged if the sense of reality is truly to be challenged. The combination of exceptional picture quality and powerful sound allows Bang & Olufsen TVs to deliver experiences far beyond their size.

All our TVs include Immaculate Wireless Sound, enabling wireless connection of up to eight external speakers in addition to wired speakers connected through the built-in surround sound module. Surround sound is a technique that enhances audio quality by adding sound channels from speakers placed around the listener. This provides sound from a full 360° radius, unlike “screen channels”, where sound only comes from the front arc (left, centre and right).

FIRST B&O TV

In 1952 Bang & Olufsen’s first television set entered the market. It was called TV 508 S and was nicknamed “The Wheelbarrow”.

The TV 508 S was a 12" television in a relatively large cabinet. The size created a beautiful piece of furniture and made room for no fewer than three speaker units, but it also presented production challenges. The solution was to build in two handles that could be pulled out. At the same time two wooden rollers were mounted on the lower rear edge, allowing the TV to be moved much like a wheelbarrow – hence the nickname. Already at that time Bang & Olufsen understood that sound plays a major role alongside the visual experience, and that flexibility was important so the TV could easily be moved into the room when guests arrived or simply when cleaning.

BEOVISION

In 1967 Bang & Olufsen launched its first colour television, “BeoVision 3000 Colour”. It was quickly recognised as one of the finest colour TV constructions of its time. Customers welcomed it warmly, and among others Denmark’s national broadcaster (DR) and Austrian television (ORF) chose BeoVision 3000 as a monitor for their studios. BeoVision 3000 appealed to many as a beautiful piece of furniture that could hide the screen when the TV was not in use. At the same time the television was equipped with four wheels, making it easier to move and more flexible.

Since the launch of Bang & Olufsen’s first BeoVision TV, the company’s TV series has been called BEOVISION, and it has become an icon of quality, beautiful design, razor-sharp images and fantastic sound. Its hallmark is fine craftsmanship combined with high-technology research and development.
