In a shop window, the designer saw six CDs beautifully arranged in a row. It made him think: imagine putting your music on display instead of hiding it away in a black box. That moment became the catalyst for the creation of a music system that turned your music collection into art. The result was Beosystem 9000c – a technological and aesthetic breakthrough that set new standards for Bang & Olufsen.

To complete the experience, Beosystem 9000c comes with a set of Beolab 28 speakers in an exclusive limited edition. With only 200 sets produced, the Beosystem 9000c with Beolab 28 Limited Edition is a tribute to the unique and rare. The design of the Beocentre is not just aesthetics – it’s the show. The CD holder accelerates at sports car speed and LED lights highlight the spinning discs behind the crystal clear glass. The Beolab 28, which completes the system, is finished in a brand new shade: Cosmic Black. The deep black colour and perforated aluminium slats create a contrasting and exclusive look. The interactive lid of the Beosystem 9000c matches the speaker details and the floor stand complements the sophisticated aesthetic. Recreated Classics Program

The Beosystem 9000c is the second product in Bang & Olufsen’s new Classics initiative to restore and upgrade iconic products.

The Recreated Classics Programme started back in 2020 when Bang & Olufsen bought 95 original Beogram 4000 turntables for its 95th birthday and brought them back to the factory in Struer, Denmark, where they had been manufactured over 50 years earlier. The 95 Beogram 4000 turntables were disassembled and all parts inspected by a dedicated team of Bang & Olufsen’s most skilled engineers, technicians and craftsmen. Every part of the turntables was carefully inspected, cleaned and – where necessary – replaced with new parts. Finally, each Beogram turntable was individually tested, tuned and fine-tuned to meet Bang & Olufsen’s high standards.
